South Charlotte Savvy Club
Are you feeling unmotivated in your journey? Wish there was a way to get that spark back? That spark you felt when you first attended a Parelli Tour stop, or when you first got your Levels packets? Well, if you answered yes to these questions we may have something to help you. A Play Day is a great way to get local students together to have fun and motivate each other while learning and creating relationships that last. I recently started a Play day group in August 2008 and had a great turn out, we were featured in the August Parelli E-News! We are located in the Charlotte area of North Carolina and have play days monthly at my facility. If you would like to join our group or stop by to play, contact me by clicking here.
Come join us and play!

9.00 am -11.30 am
Unloading and Warm up
Trailers park in pasture closest to driveway. Right before brick columns will be an open red gait, enter take right and park neatly leaving room for other trailers. Unload and get settled then walk up to the barn to sign the liability forms and show coggins. Afterward you can get your horse acquainted with new area, play and warm up until lunch time. You have free roam of the area except in the corn fields and close to the house; you can play in the lake as long as you stay near the peninsula and areas closest to driveway. The lake is very shallow in these areas, it is a great place to swim with your horse and test your savvy.
11.30 am – 1.00 pm
Lunch and Mingle Time
Head up toward the barn with your horse if you do not want to tie them at your trailer; I will show you which pasture you can place them in while eating lunch. Lunch will be supplied for you, be sure for your own convenience to bring water bottles. Water will be supplied for horses; water will be located near barn area. You may want to bring carrots, apples etc. to treat your horses and others.
1.00 pm – 6.30 pm
Fun and Games Unlimited
Walk on up to the arena with your horse saddled (your choice) and left brained. Arena will be set up and ready to be played in, then the fun and games will begin. After the games are over we will cool down and jump in the lake, talk/mingle about anything then untack, pack up and head home. You need to try to be out around 6.30pm.
